SCAR does not believe in moral victories ... but SCAR lost more close games than Arkie.
Still, IMHO, Arkie would have beaten SCAR this year in all likelihood.

I know you're half joking, but I've thought a lot about it in the past, and I am fairly sure that title belongs to 2011 Texas A&M. Swap Manziel for 1st round pick Ryan Tannehill and it was the same team as the 2012 one that went 11-2 and really was a hair's breadth away from beating Florida, winning the West, and playing Georgia for the nation title.
Instead, Sherman somehow found a way to go 6-6 with that group. His hyper-nervousness and severe anal puckerage infected the entire team and we pissed away game after game at the last second.
We lost to #3 Oklahoma State by 1 after leading for most of the game
We lost to #5 Arkansas by 4 after leading for most of the game (we rushed for almost 400 yards)
We lost to a fringe top 25 Missouri team in OT after leading for most of the game
We beat the unholy frick out of #13 Baylor and Robert Griffin
We lost to #15 Kansas State on the road in 4OTs, after leading by 10 with like 4 minutes left.
We lost to a fringe top 25 Texas team after leading for most of the game
The only game that we lost and should have lost was @Oklahoma (and they were pretty good that year). It was pretty amazing. We should have finished 11-1 and we found a way to go 6-6. Shittiest season I've ever watched.

Yea you guys have a lot of good pieces. I'm amazed at how quickly Bret's managed to turn things around; I thought it would take longer for him to build his trademark road-grader OL.
I think you guys are too weak at QB to make some serious noise next year (Allen is serviceable, but he's not that good), but I could see 8-9 wins pre-bowl, which in this division is good for a top 15 ranking

I'm not an Arky fan. I just think they're better than their record this year.
