Bama eats up pro style QBs. And Reggie bush wouldn't be running wild around the Bama LBs. Bama would drastically slow down Bush and Leinhart would be a sitting duck to guys like Upshaw and Hightower

LSU offense was good enough to win 13 games on maybe hardest schedule in cfb history

quote:Maybe so, but let's not act like 2005 Texas an 2004 USC had bad defenses. Both were damn fine units. 2004 USC only gave up 13.0 PPG (2nd in CFB) and 2005 Texas only gave up 16.4 PPG (9th in CFB).
Whatever, 2011 LSU defense is better than either
Let's also think about how good their offenses were... 2004 USC scored 38.2 PPG (6th in CFB) and 2005 Texas scored 50.2 PPG (1st in CFB).
2011 Alabama didn't play an offense near the talent and potential of one of those teams.

OU and Cal were better than any team Auburn beat that season.
Ok, it's official. You are an imbecile. And way to put down your own team. Both thuga and UT (who Auburn beat twice that year) were far better than anyone USCheat played.

And neither 05 texas or 04 USC played a defense anywhere near as talented or good as 2011 Bama
Posted on 12/19/14 at 1:02 pm to The Silverback
They also didn't lose to Jordan Jefferson at home.

Or not. Cal was #4 and had Aaron Rodgers.

Just dumb logic. Not all about the QB. That LSU squad, as a team, was superb. That's why they started 13-0 and beat 8 ranked teams.

What? Usc beat #2 Oklahoma and gave cal their only regular season loss

USC and Texas benefited on offense by playing a bunch of bad offenses, and Alabama benefited on defense by playing a bunch of bad offenses? That's pretty much what happened. All 3 teams were talented, but it all comes down to what I'm about to say below...
2004 USC and 2005 Texas went undefeated. 2011 Alabama lost to LSU at home.

2004 UGA was decent, but would have been waxed by OU or Cal. Adrian Peterson would have destroyed UGA and that Cal offense was about as perfectly balanced as it gets. That's not "putting down my own team", but an "honest assessment of my own team". You should try it sometime.

2011 Gumps lost a game right? 12-1? That's the year shitty Jefferson was QB for LSU.

Why do you have a pic of someone's centurion card?

And Auburn destroyed #3 UT at Knoxville and then again in the SECC. UT only lost one other game that year and demolished aTm in the Cotton Bowl. The same aTm team that barely lost to Chokelahoma by 7 points that year.
And thuga only lost to UT and Auburn that year. That was a very strong team.

UT lost to 6-6 Notre Dame at home.

And lost to 6-6 Notre Dame in Knoxville.
