I want to see Reuben be successful.

Scared if he gets any meaningful snaps .He'll break his damn neck.

He could be effective against a down hill running team though. Would be for some epic hits for sure.

at least Howard is getting solid PT. Just hate to see 5 star recruits sitting on the pine cause teams use this against us in recruiting.

i'd say reuben ... folks keep saying he doesn't get much pt because of his coverage 'technique', among other reasons ... but we need lbs that can play several roles and he fits the bill ...

They'll bash us if we don't allow the 3/4 stars to compete for PT as well. Best player plays. That's our recruiting pitch and that's what we should stick to. If they're scared of competition they should go elsewhere.
Having said that, if Reuben can stay healthy (big IF with how he tackles) I think he could have a big year next season.

I'd say OJ Howard out of importance, Reuben Foster to show any type of impact.

I hate 5 stars on the bench 2. J. Allen he came in wit da hype of a sack master but he has no individual moves. not that many frosh come in and start 4rm day 1 on ddefense

I will say though, Allen has been pretty good this year. 9 TFL and 4 sacks in 13 games as a true sophomore. He's definitely an athlete at the position. Another year with Davis coaching him up and he could explode into a household name. JMO.

Gotta be Reuben, no? He was a bigtime recruit and has tons of eyes on him seeing as how his recrutment went down.
Howard does too, but I have a feeling he'll have a bright future even if he doesn't blow up at Alabama. He'll stil be drafted on potential.
Reuben is kinda playing himself out of a chance at the NFL. The things he struggles with don't fly in the NFL. You can't struggle to find the field at LBr in college...AND be a poor tackler who gets out of position and be regarded as a below football IQ guy.

Reuben will be fine as long as he learns to stop leading with his head. Last year many people thought Reggie Ragland was wasted and look at him now.
My hope is for Kiffin to help Robert Foster achieve his potential.

I would say Dee Liner. I think this spring will be "sink or swim" season for him.

Who would have guessed that both Reuben Foster and Dee Liner would be going into their Junior years without having played any impactful downs for Bama yet?
Foster has STs, but he was brought in for much more than that...

Well, technically Foster played impactful downs vs WVU.
Though I too try to forget them.
