Out of the 22 starters, how many 5 star players? How does that compare to other SEC teams? Serious question.

I believe Saban to be the best coach in all of College Football, how much of that is attributed to superior recruiting?

Of course you have to coach and develop these players, recruiting, developing, and coaching all goes into the equation.

Saban has said that you are a better coach if you start with great players. And I don't know the numbers but he will have more five stars on the field next year than this.

Best recruiter ever. Without doing any research, I'd say we have about 20 on the team.

Not sure of the exact number but I bet it is not as many as you would think bc there aren't many true 5 star players every year and we don't get all of them. Lot of 4 star players for sure.

No idea, but in terms of producing NFL draftees, it's LSU, Bama, then everyone else. And it's not even close.

Didn't the two put 22 players in last year? An entire starting lineup.

Cam Robinson
TJ Yeldon
Jonathan Allen
A'Shawn Robinson
Landon Collins

I think that's it of the starters.

People think because they are great players, they are 5-stars. Cooper wasn't a 5-star.

OJ is not a starter, unless we go with the 15 starters on offense theory.

No idea but probably not as many as you think, there were lots of 3 and 4 star athletes on the field for both teams.
The secret is what you do with the 3 and 4 stars when you get them there.

The best the REC can buy and get away with it as long as Saban's buddy Emmert is in charge. Also helps when a Bama grad is in charge of the SEC refs!

I honestly don't even know who our starters are or aren't, especially when it comes to defense and how many different guys are playing.

Sacrifice them to the football gods so they will send you more 5 star players?
