What are your thoughts?
Personally, I'd rather have it on Saturday night...just makes things a lot easier for the entire family. While I know it's "tradition," the tradition lies with Texas, not LSU.

Love playing on Thanksgiving.
The tradition is Aggies playing on Thanksgiving. Not t.u.
Hope we play on Thanksgiving day for a long time. Love it.

Aggies play TDay.
It's tougher logistically, but it is how I grew up and how I rolled at A&M.

I like the Thanksgiving game, but I think that we are seeing the end of it as far as college football is concerned. The NFL is taking over the day/night and CFB will simply play Friday/Saturday.

I love the Thanksgiving game. I have fond memories of me and my buddies making a Thanksgiving feast with a ping pong table to hold together our piecemeal feast, dying sweet potatoes and pumpkin pies maroon, and blasting the War Hymn to the dismay of the teasip buddies that made the trip. I remember going to Austin and listening to douchey tu frat guys give me endless shite.
Now. My memories are based on that A&M/tu rivalry. The two flagships of the great State of Texas. I know it will never be the same, and the A&M/LSU rivalry could turn in to a very significant one, with more national implications, but it will never be the same. There will always and forever be more families/neighbors with tu/A&M intermingling. You grow up in the state, and the game on this weekend half the time won't even be here. It'll be 5 hours at best if you live in Houston, and 8 hours away for everyone else. They'll never want to have in on Thanksgiving, so I doubt that even really matters, but then again it does.
I hope when the tu game comes back it is on Thanksgiving. Those "college kids making a Thanksgiving meal" were really special to me, and a lot of the fun was the teasips I grew up with being a part of it. Outside of Houston there will never be enough Aggie/swamp kitten intermingling for it to come anywhere close. Now I hope it doesn't happen for a while, and I really want us to form our national identity before we play them again, but when it comes back I hope we move LSU to the home opener and play the sips on Thanksgiving.
