This is hitting FB. I just read this comment from a UGA fan....

quote:

I am a Georgia alumnae and fan, and I live in Auburn. I went to the game Saturday and was appalled at the intensity of feeling. This isn't a friendly rivalry anymore. I was embarrassed by the "drunk, obnoxious Georgia fan[s]" who were taunting Auburn fans. Trash-talking is one thing, what I witnessed was bullying. I am sorry, Auburn, it should not be that way! It may be time for the South's Oldest Rivalry to take a time-out!

I looked at her profile and she's a legit UGA fan from what I can tell.

I'm just glad that no Auburn fans were beaten to death by Georgia fans.

There's a big difference between taunting and trash talking vs. spitting and throwing bottles.
