I saw the thread on GC about the position for next year.

I have to think that Harris will be the leader going into spring practice (barring an absolute collapse these last 3 games) Will Grier transfer if he doesn't get the job? I assume at lot of this depends on if Driskel decides to give up football for baseball.

How close was the competition between Harris/Grier for the #2 role in Fall camp?

Harris unless he does poorly in these next few games. If there's a transfer I wouldn't be too concerned, he'll be around for at least two more years solid.

Ithink Grier is here for the long run. Even if Harris plays through his senior year, Grier still has a year of eligibility left.

Grier transfers to Auburn. Book it.

Treon is our guy for the next few years IMO.

Grier will probably transfer to another SEC school.

My opinion which has been stated before is I would prefer Grier to Harris. I watched him at the elite 11 camp. He has been a gator from day one he brought recruits in with him. Take a look at some of his film if you get a chance. Just as athletic or just slightly less in my opinion as Harris, a better arm and taller.

Yet Harris won the backup job over him without a Spring to prepare.

I think Driskel transfers, Harris starts, and Grier is the backup.

Driskel won't be at UF.

Treon goes into Spring the starter.

Not sure about Grier. He will have a chance if he looks that much better than Treon.

UF will take another QB in this class with Jones.

Driskel to transfer to AU and sit behind a QB that is much better than he is in Jeremy Johnson? Lol he would be very wise to do that.

jeff should play baseball or learn to play te. if he transfers it should be to somewhere like gt, hell even oregon, somewhere that puts a premium on his running ability, which is what we should have been doing all along.

I don't think anyone has really done anything to outright win the job next year.

Harris had little responsibility in the big win over UGA and he played decently well against a downright awful Vanderbilt team. We still have 3-4 games left and he has a LOT of work to do if he wants to be the leader going into spring practice.

He's already signed a contract, so I figure that it'd be his best option from hereon out. If he's eligible though, he'll stick with football just at another school.

Like Auburn.
