Meh. Those empty seats were intentional and effective. They helped the AD make the decision to fire Dooley. That year is an anomaly in terms of attendance despite the year preceding his final year and the year after having better numbers. People were done with Dooley.
As far as glass houses... you might want to look at my posts. I haven't been throwing any stones. Not one.

We've already had the argument and both sides made excuses. So, nobody or everybody looks like idiots. Sorry you were late.
I don't really care what arguments y'all make. We were 6th in the country last year in average attendance. And currently 6 th in the country this year. All this to watch historically bad UT teams.

And we've filled up our stadium while on Vanderbilt levels of football. That's not that impressive. The only reason you're 6th in attendance is because you have more seats.

We've been below the level of Vanderbilt football lately and we've still filled up our BIGGER stadium

You aren't winning this one. We went WINLESS for almost two years and filled up our stadium every game

Are we really still arguing about which loser team's fans are the bigger losers when it comes to leaving and/or not showing up?
But seriously, "it's cold" is a weak argument. I used to go to Colorado games in blistery cold weather, and Colorado is way worse than either Tennessee or South Carolina. And I had to walk uphill to do it.
And yes, there are plenty of Tennessee fans who wuss out, too. This isn't a knock on South Carolina.

So y'all have the 5th biggest stadium and are 6th in average attendance? :mindblown:

Given all of this, you all let a little cold weather stop you? I mean, hell, given South Carolina's dedication I half expected them to build fires in the stands and draw straws to see if someone in their group would have to be eaten before going home.

It SNOWED in SOUTH CAROLINA in November.
We aren't used to that. We aren't from Colorado or Wisconsin.
It was the earliest recorded snowfall in midland South Carolina history. South Carolina fans are bitches when it comes to cold weather. Sorry, not sorry.

Y'all have had multiple 2 win seasons lately?

For God's sake, it's just a little snow. It's not going to kill you.
Well, okay, it CAN kill you, but it's also fun: you can build snowmen and make snow angels and forts. It's great.

I'm not saying it wasn't embarrassing. Just saying it says nothing about the loyalty of our fanbase. It was an anomaly, not a pattern.

It sure feels that way.
Though I don't know why you gotta roll in here and start talking shite, Korin.

Gators won a game. Haven't you noticed the uptick in posters since? They already shat all over a UT thread.
IOW, ignore him.

We've gone 5-7 3 years in a row, if that blows you're mind then you're not very bright. Also coming from a fan of a team that returned 8,000 tickets for our game this year.
We're also one of the only programs that haven't expanded their stadium that is seeing increased attendance. Again, this to watch bad UT teams
