So, let's think of it as this: let's say they decide to get rid of him. Haven't really seen an incoming coach who have kept previous staff intact. So then let's say Bobo and Priutt go, too. Both are excellent At their perspective positions and we all know one is going to be hard-pressed to find adequate replacements. Plus, if those two leave one can't bet that nearly all of recruits go also. So we would go from a top 5 class to maybe a top 50 at best. And a rebuilding process that may take 5, 10, or more years. What if we do hire a super duper coach and never win a NC?

Well.. I mean it is humiliating getting out-coached by Boom...
Why do you find that humiliating? Over in the SEC Rant you posted:

As a Georgia fan.. Muschamp is an elite coach in the making. Firing him would not be smart. He showed that he can coach lights out in 2012. He beat us like a rented mule yesterday. I would trade Richt for Muschamp any day of the week.

What's his record against ranked opponents though. I swear I could win 9 games a year at uga.
Then you need to be coaching. Georgia has had plenty of coaches pre-Richt that struggled to win 9 games.
I don't think the fans calling for his to be fired are clueless...just reactionary. We went from "We have a great shot at the playoffs!" to "Fire Richt!" in a 24 hour period. We don't have an in between. We got from the highest euphoria to the deepest valleys in 60 seconds flat.

Oh yea. I don't think he is a good coach at all
I am just showing some respect to him in the main message board. It would be unsportsman like if I just tell the gator fans.. Boom wasn't good after he beat us. It is just sad.. we loose to him of all people

And you know this how? You dont! But we will never move over the next hill with CMR. If you never make the change you will never know.
If you make a change one of three things will happen for sure
1.You stay the same
2.You get better
3.You fall back
Make the damn change and lets find out

Thats the point you will never know until you fire CMR arse and hire another coach

See the other thread. No coach will turn this team into a super elite without the support of the adminstration. No one will.

Not asking for a super elite team, just one that comes ready to play every damn game, and win the secc every few years and a N.C at some point. It doesnt have to be super elite to do that. With CMR that is never going to happen. Make a change

Slight amendment to your point, a coach (including Richt like in 2002, 2007, or 2012) could get a few good breaks and win a national championship.
I don't think there's a coach out there that would turn UGA into a dynasty program if all else remained equal.

CMR aside. I am amazed our players came out so flat with a straight shot into Playoffs in front of them. This is way more worrisome to me than the annual CMR bash session. That wasn't coaching that beat us it was heart of the players.

Is it not a big part of coaching to instill heart? (see Erk Russell)

Yes, it is to a large extent. CMR is a 2 edged sword. I like his general composure which should instill a level of confidence in his players but he can also come across as laid back, even lazy which can be a disease for a football team. A great coach has to know when his team needs to be calmed down and when they need to be fired up. Richt seems to miss the read of his team a least a couple of times every season.

The ability of a coach to motivate players is way overstated, imo. It comes down to the attitude of the guys on the team more often than not.
None of UGA's upperclassmen defensive players are really alpha male types. It shows. Whenever the defense has been challenged physically, they've wilted. There is no scheme to fix that.

This. And I also think that the team, especially the D, thought this was going to be such a cakewalk. After all, wasn't everyone on here clamoring about how much we were going beat UF? The players hear the same talk, too. Don't think they didn't think the same thing? I would be willing to bet that they thought UF was going to fold after our TD... And when we got punched in the mouth, we came out shell shocked. I seriously believe that fake was what did the team in.

I agree it was a big factor and sadly the fake was completely predictable:
1. Georgia was heavily favored so anyone would guess that Florida would be pulling out all the stops to pull the upset.
2. The was a cross wind/gale and Florida had already seen one of the best college kickers, Morgan, miss a routine FG.
I mean do we have no one on our coaching staff considering the logic pulse of the game? A red flag for a fake FG should be have been raised by every member of the coaching staff. Hell we should have assumed that every Florida kick in the game might well be a fake/attempt to convert on 4th down.
