Hope he feels better. I'm still sick for him. I cried after I got out of the stadium and saw that pic of him. Hard to see, especially for a guy as awesome as he is, both on and off the field.

Best wishes for his recovery.

My sophomore year of football I was a WR blocking on a sweep and a guy rolled off the tackle of our RB and rolled me up from behind.
I broke my fibula and had to have surgery to repair it. I didn't have the dislocated ankle though.
Good thing is I was out of a cast and rehabbing after about 8 weeks. So hopefully the same goes for Laquon

I was absolutely sick when I saw that happen. I hate to see games won and lost on plays like that, it just sucks for OM. Don't know who would have won if the injury didn't happen, but to have it turn on a play like that is just painful.
Best wishes to Treadwell for a full and fast recovery.

As long as the ligaments in his ankle are fine (and I assume they are since there hasn't been a report otherwise), LT should be fine by the Spring. Glad it appears to not be as dire as most of us feared. Here's to a speedy recovery

I think every break is a little different, especially with the location. He fractured his fibula right near the ankle, which will likely require some screws and plates to be inserted. These can be tricky. Let's hope he recovers quickly and gets back to pre-injury Laquon.

He posted an instagram video. I quote, "I'm fine and I'll be back in a couple weeks."
Obviously, he won't be remotely close to being back in a couple of weeks, but glad he is confident and in good spirit*

Sorry I'm not manly enough for ya.
Got to know him through a few conversations while my little brother was being recruited. Was just tough to see a guy that amazing that treated my brother very well in my limited interaction with him in that much physical and emotional pain. Not saying we're best friends, just sucked to see that happen to him.

I really hope you aren't a guy.
I cried.
Bet you won't fight me IRL.
Jk, I didn't cry. I did throw up a little. Can we still fight? Or have a dance off?

Exactly the reason for the surgery. Just like mine it was about 1/2 or 1 inch from the bottom of the bone. And the reason for the surgery is to secure the tip of the bone so it doesnt fall down into the ankle. I have a single pin that run through my bone.

This makes me feel slightly better about what happened. Sounds like his future isn't severely compromised and won't miss time that would affect his game. Hoping for the best as he seems like a great kid.
Also, the fact that he blocks as a receiver makes me love the kid

Glad he's on the path to recovery.
Wonder if high tops would have helped prevent the injury?

Some Reebok Pump's would have saved him.

All in all, when considering how bad the injury looked, LaQuan Treadwell should be fine and more than ready to go by the start of next season. It looked a whole lot worse than it was.
That being said, I'm wishing him a speedy recovery and I hope he comes out again to solidify a high draft position.
