Avoiding the question on the fall of the LSU program is not answering the question. LSU has not been blown out like it has been this year in over a decade, and expectations are not the easiest to live up to in Baton Rouge.
Yeah, having the #2 recruiting class in the nation 10 months ago, and top five classes in prior years is signalling a "fall."
We lost 17 players to the NFL in the last 2 years, and are replacing them with younger talent. But ALREADY, you can see the newbies are improving. This year's #2 class is already paying dividends, and will continue to do so.
Next year's team will be frighteningly good.
But, we're in a "fall."

yup, I really want to know more about these expectations not being easy to live up to though. I could have sworn the game I was just at we beat the #3 ranked team in the country. Sounds like Les better watch out

They held LSU to 7 points and forced 4 turnovers. Pretty dominant in terms of defense vs offense. It'd be fair to say your defense dominated our offense.

Why melt, you're used to being a cellar dweller of a program. Losing is nothing new. What's surprising is that you were higher ranked, picked to win, and didn't get blown out. I'd say it's a win-win for your program and institution. You're actually getting PR and respect this season. You shouldn't be upset or melt about anything as you haven't experienced anything like this since Eli's days or the 1950's. It's foreign territory and you clearly don't understand how to exist in it.
