They also exchanged phone calls afterward. The text by itself certainly doesn't look good but there is a lot more in the police report.

With "date rape" or an assault like is alleged here where she was friends or acquaintances with the accused and was in his room with consent, but claims she said no to sex...I can see some dialogue like this occurring.

Um even if the girl is having sex with a guy, once she says STOP, the guy has to STOP or it's rape. They can be friends afterwards but it's still considered rape if she wants to go after him.
ETA: At least it is in Missouri.
