Yeah. We had powder blue helmets for a long time.

Not technically an official school color, but we wore powder blues for a long time from the 60s to the early 90s. So those helmets have some history.

Well the story is Vaught ordered the regular navy helmets one year(late 60's) and they came in robin's egg blue. Vaught said frick it, and we ended up wearing them until 1994.
