The fact remains our Offensive production was terrible in that 3rd qr...now whether thats their defensive adjustments or our offensive ineptitude is irrelevant. My point was that it was the defense being on the filed so much that allowed Arky back into the game. Had we did what we did at he end of the game the entire second half...it wouldn't have been near as close. Question is...why the hell didn't we?

It's a combination of taking the foot on the galas and arky's D having something to prove. Notice what happened when we got righted?

3rd qtr 1st down playcalling was predictable and poorly executed. one thing the coaches knew, however, was that Arkansas was no quick strike team and would take 6-7 minutes on each drive. they would simply run out of time.

The first drive was 5 plays and 22 yards and should have been a 1st down again but our TE did not make a catch. The next 2 series were stopped at 3 and out in large part due to run blitzes and some good plays by Arky. The next series, we made them pay for cheating up by scoring on a long pass. The next series, we burned clock and pinned them. The final series, we ran the ball for 5 minutes...
