I agree. I think the world of Herschel and appreciate all he's done for UGA athletics and academics. However, he should not be speaking about Gurley right now. Again, he has no proof. Just like the rest of us. There's some guy, saying he paid Gurley and he doesn't have proof......
Herschel was accused of many things without proof as well....he was also investigated by the NCAA. He certainly shouldn't be making public statements about "where there's smoke...."

His character came into question the moment he accepted money. That in itself gives anyone and everyone the right to make the smoke/fire comment. What people are so quickly forgetting is that he is GUILTY, how much so is to be determined.
