Arizona State (Houston) - strong but beatable Power 5 opponent
Nevada - Decent mid-major
Ball State - Patsy
Arkansas (Arlington) - Another grueling battle unfortunately
Mississippi State - They go to Auburn the week before us
Alabama - We get them after a bye, they get us after Arkansas
at Ole Miss - They get New Mexico State and Memphis before us, we get Alabama before them
South Carolina - They get us after a bye week
Auburn - They get us right after Ole Miss
Western Carolina - Decent break
at Vanderbilt - Another decent break
at LSU - We get them right after Vanderbilt, they get us after Ole Miss
Not even going to pick a record, but the schedule sets up better than any A&M schedule since 1999. Unfortunately, we all know how that one went.

Here is the schedule plain and simple.

I like the OOC schedule.
ASU is a fairly good team this year.
Nevada is a respectable opponent also. I have seen them beat Power 5 teams before.

You mean Mike Leach?

They should have beaten Arizona in their 2012 bowl game, blew a 21 point lead late.

They beat Jeff Tedford at Cal also

And they took down Boise St. back when Boise St. could've legitimately finished in the top 3 in the PAC-12.

True. They did beat Boise State and those Berkeley hippies, but under a different coach (name escapes my head, but he was a long tenured guy.)
As most of us know, our former ST coach Brian Polian is now their head coach and his only signature win thus far is Mike Leach's Washington State.

Arkansas: one starting WR, one starting offensive lineman, starting TE, one starting DE, both starting outside linebackers, starting FS, starting nickel, starting punter, and starting kicker
Auburn: 2 starting offensive linemen, starting TE, starting QB, starting RB, 2/4 starting D-linemen, starting outside linebacker, starting CB

Anything less than 10-2 on that schedule is a complete failure barring no major injuries or attrition. Every game, except for Auburn and Alabama, we should be the favorites. If we don't get it done in 2015, then I don't know what else to say. That has to be the best possible schedule we could have asked for, honestly.

You are aware that the same Ole Miss team that beat us returns a lot of guys next year? The recruiting class they bought is not eligible for the draft until the 2016 NFL Draft. That game won't be a win with the defense they currently have.

They lose several great players off the defense including Golson and Prewitt out of the secondary and they'll have a new QB. They will be good again but they will have to replace some big time players like everybody else

^^^ this.
They'll be good... but shouldn't we be as well? And breaking in a new QB isn't usually a glamorous process. Ask 3/4 of the SEC this year.
