Quoting TAMU 'why was the horse collar not called?' Seriously in the stands that looked obvious. Also, never seen a crew go to replay to overturn an intentional grounding against MSU. All the close calls went MSU way.
MSU won the game, Auburn made too many mistakes (turnovers, missed Fgs, red zone, negated one TD because a receiver drifted out of the back of the end zone for no reason). The refs were only a part of it.
Quoting Bama 'we were the better team'

It's normal hand checking closer to the line of scrimmage. You sound like a fricking Bama fan after y'all squeaked by them last week.

So fans in the heat of a game had some knee jerk reactions? You don't say...
I don't think it's a surprise either. Just refuting what your fellow fan was saying about your fans not complaining about the calls.

Yet almost every other response here has stated otherwise...24 hours later.

Except for half of the posts on this board currently...

Your point is so obvious that the broadcast team for CBS, a former VP of NFL referees and the guy Fox Sports currently uses to analyze the replays of both college and pro games, and 99 percent of the posters in the game thread on this board all disagree with you.
People often disagree about calls, and I've seen disagreement about this one. Auburn fans thought that Nick Fairley played within the rules, even after multiple coaches reported him to the SEC office for uncalled roughing the passer. If this play had been the other way around, Auburn fans would be flooding the boards today claiming it was offensive PI against MSU. And I would've agreed with you.
I'm not interested in what you saw, or what any other person saw. When I watch this video, I see Sammie Coates push off the defender, knock him off stride, and only then does he get enough separation to make the catch. That's offensive pass interference by definition. I've seen it called that way before and this was completely consistent with the rule. Good Call.

Without the separation he illegally created he doesn't catch that pass. Ref made a solid call. Coates is too stupid to stay in bounds much less keep his hands to himself.

Um no. The were definitely issues with the officiating, but I have seen no one here blame that entirely for the loss.
How many of your jerkoff fans blamed officiating for the Iron Bowl loss?

Not even 99% of the people in this thread agree with your stance. Was it a nitpick call? Yeah. Was it still correct? Yes.

I said I didn't think it cost Auburn the game, dumbass. They just straight got beat.
But stop pretending that's a "good call". It's horrible and if it went against y'all you'd bitch, too.
This has for frickall to do with which teams were involved in the calls. Those were shitty calls.

The pass interference call on the Auburn defense was bullshite, too. Jones got his head around.

I don't know of anyone that thought the kickoff return at the end of the game was the official's fault.
