Talk around the town is Pharrell Williams. He has been spotted numerous times in town last night and this afternoon. What do you guys think? I don't agree if it is him. It needs to be someone with ties somewhat to the University. Makes us look bad when they can't pull a MSU alum or representative and just have to get some random person.

Has just as much of a tie to MSU as Katy Perry did to Ole Miss. Who cares...ESPN just wants to put a popular celebrity up there.

If it was anybody like Pharell, they'd already be hyping the shite out of him. That's the reason you do a celeb like that, so that you pull in a crowd that wouldn't have watched otherwise. At this point, I'll be surprised if Gameday has even a B list celeb.

The Pharrell started when a picture was put on Twitter of him in Corky's. When I asked my friend, who put the picture on Twitter, if the picture was legit, he responded "haha I just googled celebrities in liquor stores." I think he's gotten a good laugh out of it.

Twitter says there is a guest picket set but they won't say exactly when it'll be announced. Either at Cowbell Yell tonight or tomorrow morning.

Katy Perry's manager is an Ole Miss grad and her boyfriend grew up an Ole Miss fan. There were a few connections there.

Her boyfriend grew up in Miami after being born in Tupelo. He went to UCF. No where does it say he is an Ole Miss fan.
