who did you expect would vote them higher than AU or FSU (last year's matchup) other than the state of MS?

I'm actually surprised they're as close as they are to FSU

Don't care. We keep winning and all will fall into place.

Their historical irrelevancy has made them indistinguishable.

beating A&M and Alabama does not, in fact, prove you are the best in the country.

But beating Arkansas and the same crappy LSU team does.

No. It's tough for State fans to understand but big 6 schools gain the benefit of the doubt. If Tennessee won the games Miss State just won, they would be #1 or #2 and Lil Jon would be guest anchoring on sports center talking about Peyton Manning and Rocky Top.

But State doesn't get that benefit because everyone knows that the landmass schools don't have staying power.

They grouped us together to fluff the count to 19%, which combined is only 1% less than Florida State. Makes it more interesting that way because otherwise your clear top 2 would be the same boring matchup you had last year.

kinda obvious..

Preciate your interest in my school brah. Please continue to keep me posted on all things involving tLandmass - the obsession around here is truly a thing of beauty.
