Is he bad at pass blocking
Our rbs don't even pass block that much. Cap has done well, that is why he plays. Yes we wish he was a bit faster to the hole, but he is a good back.
I think the way CAP handled last year plays a part to his starting this year. He signed out of juco thinking he would start. Then he gets surpassed midseason and basically disappeared. He kept working. That showed what one is supposed to so.

CAP is a good RB, but he hasn't been producing as of late. When will Barber get a chance back there? Is he bad at pass blocking or something?

CAP has had over 100 yards in all but one of our games. Not producing? Have you seen the OL he is running behind?

Perhaps I approached this wrong. I still stand by the assertion that Roc and Barber getting carries would benefit the offense. I also think Barber is more talented than CAP and could get more yards.

Boys, when Michael Dyer was a Freshman, he didnt play til game 5. Mostly because it took him that long to learn the blocking schemes in Gus's offense. Roc is a rookie. I wouldnt be surprised if this is somewhat also a factor.
Its game 5. look for some different shite. I expect Gus to unleash the Kraken.

You're gonna be disappointed.
And also your stat about Dyer is bullshite. He had 14 carries for 95 yards in the opener against Arkansas State. He had 23 carries for 100yds against SC in the 4th game of 2010. He had 69 yards on 16 carries against Clemson in the 3dd game of the year. He had 9 carries for 48 yards in the 2nd game versus MSU. Did you honestly believe nobody would fact check that or do you have terrible memory? Both? Wtf
He had 212 yards on 62 carries before you say he even played

This didn't help you.
After 4 games CAP is neck and neck with Tre Mason's performances. Mason also had the benefit of a better offensive line.

Yeah, because that certainly invalidates what I said.

are we getting like bama fans where we think all our backups are better than the starters?
Posted on 10/1/14 at 9:49 am to piggidyphish
Yes. It is getting ridiculous.

Oh, good lord.
I have said since last year that I thought Barber was the best RB on the roster. Do bama fans also like chicken wings? Because I fricking love chicken wings.

I only asked the question, I didn't answer it. I'm sorry if you don't like the way another poster answered it. You could just say "no" and then we tally up the answers.

Just look at the game film. Roc plays a few series at the end of the game. Barber might get one handoff.
I mean, I knew/saw that. I'm just saying I wonder why Barber doesn't get more touches for cleanup. Must be something in practice.
