About the same time the secr acknowledges Gus doesn't run a high school offense.
Ain't gonna happen brah.

Oh I don't need tSECr approval.
I was just curious if they maintained the position that he's a locker room cancer who would lead us back to the dark ages. I started a new thread since it's frowned upon to bump old threads.
Does the rant still think it was a desperate hire?

Nope. UK put up 450 yards on them at almost 6 yards a play.
That's only 200 less than we did, with OT. Pretty solid.

Just about every Alabama poster on here dismisses every Auburn victory as luck, and then you want credit for beating a team that went 4-8 last year and needed triple overtime to beat Kentucky at home. Good luck with that

But everyone told me how improved Kentucky was and how Florida was just overlooking them and Blake could only throw bubble screens et al et al et al.

It is still too early to crown him with those types of monikers.

Can we establish right now if Ole Miss has a legit defense? Would hate for that to change in two weeks if we beat OM convincingly.

Ole Miss will take away the bubble and make Sims throw it deep which he can't do and Kiffin be fucted.

Only after kiffin leaves with at least 1 championship AND doesn't put bama on probation. Until then he sucks and is a liability

I mean, if Trooper didn't get anybody on probation, I'm sure Lane can stay hidden for 12 months.

Well if Florida and OM aren't legit defenses then there isn't one on Alabama's schedule.

I'm not surprised the Kiffin hire has been a success. Now, I had no idea it would be this successful so soon.
Another thing. I can't definitively say Kiffin isn't a good head coach. Who has had success with the Raiders in the last 20 years? Gruden? Well, that's about it.
Tennessee was only one season.
USC was dealing with really tough sanctions or schollie limitations. In spite of all that Kiffin was still recruiting lights out. I think Kiffin is a fine young coach.

I think he even admits he has serious issues with the CEO/management role of being a head coach. He clearly was not very good at time management and control.
I don't really know if that is something that a person like that can turn around, but my guess is somebody will give him another shot at it.
