So, is Dan Mullen now a hot commodity in coaching searches?

Is he the real deal or more like the Auburn coach who rode Cam Newton?
M. State is a respectable program so there are not an unlimited number of opportunities for an upward move. But history tells us they have not been a consistent top tier team. So there are so opportunities for him to upgrade.
I'd say maybe somebody like Florida if they find themselves looking for a coach. Or maybe Michigan? Can't think of others off the top of my head.

He needs to beat a good team first.

I have always thought Dan Mullen would be a good coach to have on a staff.

He is, again.
He was for a while there when the Penn State and Miami jobs opened up in 2010-11ish. He will be again this offseason.
When Brady Hoke is fired at Michigan, you'll hear Mullen's name tossed around a lot for that job.

Would they want him back at Florida? When he left that was the end of Urban's unstoppable offense.

michigan needs to stay away from merlins. they can have his bitch miles

In a way, he already has a great job. State's money people have realistic expectations, and as long as he goes to a bowl and beats Ole Miss (which he has done) he has a lifetime job making millions. Games like last night is just icing on the cake.

He beat his first top 10 team ever. 1 is merely a coincidence. 2 is a start. 3 is a trend. Until he beats 3 of them, no.

I would say this is correct. Nowhere near the pressure at State as say a Michigan or Florida.

They won't finish top 10.
At the end of the year when LSU is 6-6 or 7-5, will he still get to pump his chest about this win?

LSU is not losing six games.

It's prob safe to say that most teams in the country would take any of the guys from the current crop of SECW head coaches.

I don't think beating LSU makes him a hot commodity.

Grateful, you are devaluing a night win at Tigah Stadium with a record crowd?

That shouldn't make anyone a hot commodity either.
