I'm really confused by all of the LSU fan "erector set" comments? Tiger Stadium is a mish mash of a bunch of different odd angles and lines when you look at it empty. It looks great, just like new Kyle will, when it's full of fans though.

i dont necessarily disagree. but it's not erector set. so where are you confused?

There's a major difference, though. Most if not all the original SEC school stadiums grew over 50-75 years, so the piecemeal nature is to be expected. Kyle Field is being taken back to the studs, so the expectations are a little different.

To me, it doesn't look like a college stadium. I think of Joke Campbell and its brick facade and towers. It doesn't look bad at all. Just sterile.
