Polls shouldn't be taken until October.

How can we ensure Big 10 teams will have a fair shot unless we rank them high in preseason and keep them there for "not losing" to shitty teams?

I agree but I think most fans want to see how the "experts" perceive the weekly outcomes. Objectively, Georgia is probably ranked about right; probably a top 10 team but I don't think we are a top 5 team. Based on what we have seen so far, which is hardly enough, I'm guessing FSU, Auburn, Michigan St. and Oklahoma or Oregon will be in the playoffs. Someone in the 5 major conferences is going to be left out and pissed. And since the the Big 12 doesn't have a conference playoff, I'm thinking they will be the default loser all other factors equal.

Guys relax the polls are to create excitement for the games. They are not used to determine the top 4.

If you don't like them, then don't look at them, and better yet, don't respond to threads about them....see how easy it is?
