He needs somebody to read it for him.

Mitchell, a junior who missed most of last season with a torn ACL, is still recovering from preseason surgery to repair torn cartilage in his right knee. He watched the Clemson game from the sideline and wasn't using crutches or wearing a brace. Mitchell, who is probably UGA's most explosive receiver, isn't expected back for the South Carolina game, but might be ready to play against Tennessee on Sept. 27. Scott-Wesley, who had 16 catches for 311 yards with two touchdowns last season, might be ready to return from a high ankle sprain in time to play the Gamecocks. Senior receiver Jonathon Rumph also was hurt in practice last week and didn't play against Clemson.
With Mitchell sidelined, look for UGA offensive coordinator Mike Bobo to continue to find ways to get explosive 5-foot-8 freshman Isaiah McKenzie the ball. The Bulldogs put McKenzie and Michel in the slot a few times against Clemson, and then motioned them into the backfield to take handoffs.
quote:
New Georgia defensive coordinator Jeremy Pruitt, who was a part of three national championships at Florida State in 2013 and Alabama in 2011 and '12, was far from satisfied with his defense's effort against Clemson. Pruitt said UGA's defense made fewer mistakes in the second half. “It's not like we did any secret things at halftime,” he said. “If you look at our body of work, there were a lot of guys playing who haven't played a lot of football around here. There were a lot of guys that got their feet wet for the first time. For us, it's going to be a daily grind to get better fundamentally, pay attention to detail and create the right habits.”

Sorry I thought this was a football message board. Evidently it's a snobfest of a few individuals who have nothing better to do in life than perfect their posting skills and find it their mission to critique everyone else.

Never mind the haters.
Thanks for the link.
I am not expecting Mitchell to help at all this year, unfortunately. Any catch he gets this season is gravy. Still hoping for something from JSW, and we will need it.

This. Ease off of UGA fans trying to make conversation on here.
Thanks in advance.

Most uga posters are cool, but there are a few working out their issues behind from behind their computer screens. Thanks for sharing info...I was wondering about those receivers in particular.

Spiff's a cool dude. I was just wondering what's pissing him off in this thread.

Rumph and Mitchell need to get back healthy and I read in the rule book it says a uga athlete can not serve a suspension while that person is injured so JSW may not be back either I hope this isn't true

Pretty sure they can. If UF can count a cancelled game pretty sure UGA can count injuries.

@RadiNabulsi: @Wes_nship @Mark_Schlabach , “A suspension cannot be served concurrently with an injury or illness.”- UGA student athlete policy.

Should be able to I think he learned lesson he got caught smoking while he had an injured ACL I mean come on let him play

I would go with the ole "he probably smoked due to depression from an injury during his breakout campaign, so let's not suspend him for another game and cause further depression that could lead to mental health issues in addition to his physical health issues" argument.
As for OP, good find on Rumph. I expected some legitimate contribution from him this year and wrote him off as a non-contributor after a true freshman RB lined up at WR before he stepped for on the field. An injury in practice last week would explain a lot IMO.

Informative article. Thanks for sharing. I am concerned about our receiving core. Without Mitchell and JSW, we simply don't have enough big play threats to keep the opposing secondary honest.
