Should the Dawgs be worried about Mason? I was not impressed with Mason at all. His arm seems like pee shooter and floats the ball. Joe Cox looks better than him so far. I know this is being hard after the first game but I am being honest. We need an accurate passing game when the running is stopped. I hope he improves in Columbia.

Don't recall Mason throwing any pics last night. Can't remember the last time a UGA quarter back didn't throw a pic.

Mason will be just fine.

Is he the most talented QB we've ever had? No. But what I liked most last night was that he didn't piss the game away. He didn't turn the ball over or make any terrible decisions. He was very consistent and that's what your quarterback has to be in order to win.

It was a big game and his first home opener. He didn't make mistakes, stayed within himself and we won in a blowout.

Mason will continue to improve. Not worried about the QB this year.

Dafuq???

He threw for 69.2%, no int's, ran for a TD(2 yrds), only had 1 sack, 11 of our 22 1st downs were from throws, and he threw 6 of 18 balls over 10 yards, 3 of 18 over 15 yards, and 1 of 18 for 23 yards, plus a 9 yard pass to Blazevich for a 1st down.

You seriously have to be a fool to some how come away from this being worried about Mason and compare him to Joe Cox. Mason's throw to Bennett in the endzone where the two Clemson players collided and got hurt was a perfect pass. It was put in the only possible place for Bennett to catch it. The back shoulder throw to Bennett was absolutely perfect as well.

Not to mention we're missing our two best deep threats and, fact is, we don't need to throw deep when we have 5 freaking dominant RB's, one of which is the best player in all of college football.

You're off your rocker with this nonsense.

If you want a run and gun spread offense go be Auburn or Oregon fan. Hudson did exactly what he was suppose to do and did it at a high percentage. Hutson is a Qb who will win a championship!!!

I don't think Mason is quite bottom of the barrel as Joe Cox. He did throw a 20 yard rainbow that reminded me of Joe.
