A&M is who we thought they were

And South Carolina left them off the hook.
A&M will always have a good QB by the design of the offense. They have 3 solid WRs and a lot of others that thrive by design of the offense.
They still don't run the ball, which will come back to haunt them like last year when LSU would have 4 guys in the box and they still threw it.
Their pass defense has holes. They play aggressive but they can be beat.
Their rush defense was not even tested last night so no comment on improvements, but I have no reason to believe it will be any better.
Moral of the story, don't get down early because if you do,you have to throw the ball and you play right into their hands. That's exactly what happened last night.

Lot of revisionist history going on here. We ran the ball for 169 yards on 39 carries. What exactly do you mean by we don't run the ball?

You have a whole three months to be scared of us. Might as well enjoy the first few weeks at least

22 carries for 67 yards is most definitely better. No way to spin that.

I expected A&M to be similar to A&M with JFF, minus the QB who could win the game with bad odds on will and talent alone.
I'm not sure that's not where we are. If you play A&M with a shitty offense and a bad defense, you're gonna get worked. Admittedly the QB situation is better than anticipated, but he's unlikely to maintain this form in every game. There will be opportunities for opponents, perhaps lesser opponents, to take A&M out.
But yeah, my expectation is that A&M will have good offenses for as long as Sumlin is there. With an average defense, they should be no worse than 3/4 in the west, and pushing for more obviously.

TAMU is not who we thought they were. They have a QB and a defense with a pulse. That makes them dangerous.
That being said, USCe could write a book on how to NOT defend the HUNH.

I think LSU had 3 in the box. And they still passed.

Pretty hard to downplay that performance last night

I dont think we would have ran the ball if you guys had dropped 11 in coverage.

Going to be real hard to beat A&M if you get down by two scores.
Will be fun to watch A&M, BAMA, AU, LSU, was going to say Ole Miss, but they look like they are back to form.....

Sure, A&M can come out flat or have an off night.
But based on last night, the only defense I see that can halfway stop them is LSU's because of the fast attacking style. Even then, if all things fall into place, the Tigers better score in the mid to high 30s.
Congratulations, Ags, Coach Sumlin and the whole team.
They stomped a red clay mud hole in us. They are for real.
South Carolina ain't that bad. The Ags are that good.

I'm actually stoked for the LSU/aTm game... I love a good competitive game.

Premature, and that isn't taking anything away from A&M. We'll just have to wait and see.

Defensively yes you are....You should be concerned when you come up against any team that can run the ball even just a little bit.

There is absolutely a way to spin that. South Carolina played right into what A&M does well and ran it against a spread out defense instead of poundimg it right at them. They also had an injured RB and sack yards.

On both statements.

Wow we are already in y'all's heads. Were y'all this scared of Petrino and the Flagship, or is this something different?

So you admit that what youre saying is bullshite and pure spin. Got it.
A&M had 3 sacks and multiple tackles for loss against one of the better OL in the SEC stocked full of veteran players. The front 7 looks to be much better than last year.
