Agreed. I mean, last year my team got trounced and then became a totally different football team in a few weeks time. I don't think it is common, but it's certainly not abnormal for teams to change pretty radically over the course of the year.

He's either too young or dumb to realize the division strength thing is cyclical.

I'm not saying A&M isn't better than last year, I just don't know why people saw this as a shock. Im sure some people were surprised by just how many yards Hill had, but I will tell you now that A&M will never have a bad QB in this offense. I'm just not ready to say A&M is anything different than in the past: below average defense, great passing attack.

South Carolina ain't that bad. The Ags are that good.

The Ags are good. But why did everyone think south carolina was going to be awesome this year?

That defense can't tackle, can't pursue, can't cover...

22 carries for 67 yards is most definitely better.
Actually, it was 19 carries for 76 yards, since Thompson was sacked 3 times for -9 yards (never understood why college football won't separate sacks from rushing totals like the NFL does).

While these numbers are a significant improvement, I think this game will turn out to be an outlier - given Spurrier's historic tendency to abandon the run when behind by a significant margin, and whatever is going on with Davis (your best returning offensive weapon and he gets 7 touches? and none after the middle of the 2nd quarter? can't understand that unless he's hurt), I wouldn't put too much stock in holding any of your other SEC opponents under 100 on the ground.

That said, your offense is, umm, pretty good.

The front 7 looks to be much better than last year.
I can guarantee you your thoughts will not be as optimistic after you play Auburn, Bama or LSU.
