Did NM get caught again? Is this bothering you?
He is being punished beyond what the NCAA, Auburn Athletics requires.
He has paid his fine (basically a ticket).
Does Saban punish for this? I think not.

Because being at AU is worse than being in jail.

That's totally up to the officer's discretion the law changed in Georgia 2009, so technically any trace amount of a controlled substance in your system is criminal if you are driving a car, bicycle, horse.
It's a shitty deal you think they would publish it more than they do.

I agree...
Unless you've already been kicked off one football team for stealing from your team mates and then another football team let you join on the condition you not frick up, then go get yourself in a really fancy new sports car and get yourself pulled over across state line with a whole bunch of weed...
The you can (in my peter tosh voice) criticize it..

Well, we both know he was coming back from Ft Valley State college.
I don't think he was scheduled to give a lecture on campus that day.

He deserves a 2nd, 2nd chance. He's such a good guy afterall.

9 grams
OMG he must be a dealer.

I know people who have gotten arrested for having a joint. 9 grams isn't a tiny amount.
I am all for legalizing it, but it isn't legal in Georgia to my knowledge.

Yeah, idk the law in Georgia, but the threshold in most states is right at an ounce...that's 28g. So he was nowhere near that.
That makes it a misdemeanor, and apparently the cops has the discretion of writing him a ticket.
I, for one, applaud this development. I only wish it was applied to everyone in every state and not just star quarterbacks.

I mean he reportedly got pulled over with 9 grams, is weed legal now in Georgia or something?
Court backlogs? 9 grams seems very minor to me.

Better question is why did he not just eat it? Everyone knows to carry a drink when you are riding dirty.

What happened to Dillon Lee with his DUI arrest?
Posted on 8/20/14 at 9:49 pm to Tigerman97
Not quite this will go on his criminal record as a misdemeanor.
Not supporting the law but honestly I've never heard of someone getting a ticket vs going to jail in Georgia
