Two points:

1.) Which games have you been to at Kyle?

2.) Regardless of what any of us think right now, I am positive that Kyle will be louder in the future than ever before with the renovations. Any judgments on the noise of Kyle will have to be reevaluated for big games henceforth, IMO.

I'm inclined to agree with you on the bigger noise in bigger moments thing overally when it comes to LSU as it stands (keeping in mind i haven't been to a game at TS). The best attribute of Kyle is the consistency of the noise level. We get loud of course, but the racket throughout is our strength.

I have been to probably two dozen games at Kyle Field. From OU to Texas to LSU. I was even at the Bama game last year. Without a doubt the new additions will make it louder and bring more excitement to just being there. I thought the bama game last year would be louder but I think its a function of defense. Most of the yelling is done when the team is on defense and that hasn't been aTm's strength over the past few years. I remember it being louder in the 90's. I still think it is one of the better venues in the conference that is full of great places to play. It was definitely the best in the old big 12. I personally think the organized cheering takes some of the buzz out of the atmosphere. I like hearing the random chanting of hotty toddy or roll tide when you go to an away venue.

I'm guessing with the renovations Kyle will move to 4th loudest in the conference.
