I see alot of 11-1 Predictions from yall. Is it a safe assumption that yall are predicting having a little trouble with Auburn on the road? Or are some of you thinking maybe tripping up to Clemson?

Just curious as to where the one loss scenario comes from.

I honestly could see 12-0. I really dont think Auburn will be nearly as good as last year.

The biggest threats from our perspective are @AU and @UF followed by UGA and @CU in the 2nd group.

However as good as Clem5on has been under Dabo, Spurrier has found a formula to beat him. He uses it every year and SC has won each of the past 5 games by double digits. For some reason or another Dabo and Co. just can't adapt. Whether they have Spiller, Boyd, or Watkins.

My expectation would be 10-2. Last season we could say that every opponent on the schedule was beatable, and they were although we lost to UGA and UT.

This season I can't really say the same: can't predict a win over AU if we haven't ever beaten them (besides the once 3 centuries ago), and while we have beaten UF in The Swamp in 2010, it's the only time and therefore not enough evidence that we can take that with confidence.

However the others are games we should feel we're confident enough to win those games...doesn't mean we actually will, but we should match up well for those....

My 11-1 prediction is the absolute best scenario IMO. A loss @ Auburn

I see many other very possible losses A&M, UGA, @Clemson, and @Florida.

I just predict us winning those games.

I predicted 10-2. Losses at Auburn and Florida. But we could slip up against Georgia and Clemson will be tough as hell in DV. Just hope we don't lose to all 4 somehow.

I really don't expect much out of this year's team. Both UGA and AUB have bye weeks before the matchups, and while I think USC has no reason to expect a loss, UGA will throw everything they have at Spurrier and Co. It didn't fall in USC's favor last year.

Until I witness a victory over Auburn, I can't predict one will actually happen.

@UF is no picnic, as evidenced by our last game there.

I wouldn't be stunned to see a 7-5 type season. I hope like hell I'm wrong.

Auburn

They own us.

May the fricking Aubie curse be broken this season.

I'm killing a feline and an eagle that week just to be sure.

I understand USC hasn't played Auburn well in the past but I do not think that they are unbeatable in Jordan Hare. UGA should have won that game last year and they were pretty beaten up by that point in the season. With regards to Auburn's schedule in the west I think that USC can come in under the radar and have a chance to pull an upset there. LSU won at home fairly handily and Bama just as easily could have beat them at Jordan Hare as well. An 8 point win against Ole Miss at Jordan Hare and a 4 point win against Miss State also at Jordan Hare could also have gone either way. The only two games they really dominated an opponent was against Tenn and Arky which is nothing. I'm not saying we will go in there and win but if you look at the dark horse teams like Ole Miss and State that went into Auburn they had two very close games and are of much lesser talent than USC. No reason Auburn should be considered a definite loss on the schedule. I would give USC a 40% chance to pull it off.

If we come out of the chute 3-0 ... then I may have to amend my prediction to 12-0 the more I've thought about it.

Building early confidence, if we have the chemistry, could catapult us into very rarefied air.

Before today I was thinking we were definitely going to go 3-0, go into that Auburn game undefeated and then possibly drop that one because they own us .... but I have since realized that if we go into that game undefeated we're going to kick their asses.

Those first three games, at home, are so important this season that it cannot be overstated.
