I think they will be better, substantially. That being said, this is the part of the year where everything is great and everybody loves everybody, but I confess I feel alot better about Pruitt than I ever felt about Grantham

So, you're saying the glass is half full....instead of half empty??

Ill be impressed if they can 1. Make third down stops consistently 2. Not run around like idiots asking the next guy where theyre supposed to be 3. Point fingers at each other and throw their hands up in the air after a big play is given up 4. Pick themselves up and press on when shite just goes wrong 5. Take responsibility for a missed assignment and knowing they farked it up, make a play on the next down by taking the aggression out on the opposition.
If simplicity and execution are the basis for this defense during the first year of implementation then theses five things are the foundation it needs to be laid upon.

You bet, I am feeling bullish, I am even warning to blowbo, he has improved, but that will probably change by the 3rd series of the Clemson game. If the OL can block.....................

The linebackers did play great last year. You are right about that. I just remember numerous times where Amarlo was trying to communicate what we were supposed to be doing before the snap and the rest of the defense looked so confused. I sure hope I don't see that happen this year and I don't think I will.

I am with you 100%. Also, if there are any more that need to leave or Pruitt wants to show them the door, by all means get it over with now.
