Was Marshall not? When it comes to QB experience Marshall had none more at this level than JJ. Anyone saying that JJ is all around better than Marshall is a dreamer and wisher. He's not and that's why he doesn't start yet. Can he be in the future? Yes he can be. Will he? Remains to be seen but Arkansas will give us our first true glimpse.

You can't seriously argue Marshall and Johnson were equal in terms of experience entering last year.... NM had a year of juco putting up tons of yards/points and spent a season in the SEC as a DB... his learning curve, while steep, wasn't near what JJ had as a true frosh.

Surely you aren't serious. Nick spent a year in the SEC as a DB......learning college D's. He spent the next year as a QB at the JUCO level. JJ spent the year playing ball with 16 year olds. I am not saying JJ is a better QB than Nick at the moment. JJ has the tools to be a better all around QB than Nick, IMO. I don't understand why that is so hard for you to figure out. But as far as your argument.....yes, most Jr. starters are better than true freshmen.
