Honest Answer, LSU Fans...Cross-Div. Games

I'm not starting a fight, but just want an honest answer on this topic.
What is it about cross-div. rivalry games that make you have the opinion they should be removed from fb scheduling? I keep hearing "remove them", but not much as to why that is said.
Along with that, what would be an acceptable compromise in scheduling to you? As we have read/discussed at length, the SEC will not be flipping teams in divisions. Maybe when we go to 16 teams (which I personally suspect all P5 conferences will do) a change along those lines will occur.
Thank you for your input.

Cause Florida is so tough to play every year.

They think it's unfair that they have to play Florida every year while Alabama gets to play Tennessee. Also, the point I agree on is actually playing west teams not named Auburn more than once every 6 years, although I don't want to not play Auburn

I don't care either way.

Florida is a forced rivalry, but I enjoy watching the lsu-Florida game so I don't mind it. It seems silly to assign everyone a permanent rival just because of DSOR and TSIO.

Well your question is flawed because you're assuming every single person doesn't want to play Florida.
I like playing Florida every year and am glad we are continuing to do that.

Unbalanced cross-divisional scheduling.
Sure, you guys like playing Auburn every year, and Alabama does with Tennessee. However, those two games holds the rest of the SEC hostage.
Just play those games as a non-conference game when they rotate off of your respective schedules.
SEC teams shouldn't be going 8 years between playing each other.

Balanced scheduling.
It's not at all about our schedule being harder, it's about certain other teams who seem to get very easy draws year after year

I'm not specifically talking about the liking/hating of playing Florida. I'm just talking about perm. cross-division games overall.

I just want to see everyone get a chance to enjoy a challenging schedule like we do

Not really sure why some don't want to play the East at all. Some of my favorite games have been LSU playing against Florida, South Carolina and Georgia.
Fan-made conspiracies is all I can think of.

because if we remove them then it wont take 6 years to play every team in the SEC and 12 years to play at every SEC stadium. For example, if everything remains the same, then LSU wont play AT Georgia again for 12 more years. Something has to change

This
Keeping the permanent opponents and the 8 game schedule is fricking retarded though

I love playing Florida. I just find it slightly unfair that in CFB when every game matters so much, we go the swamp while some other teams play a sub .500 team. Hopefully UT gets their shite together soon.

I just wish we didn't have to wait so long between games of other East teams. I like playing Florida every year and I respect the other rivalries.
The 2012 and 2013 scheduling was bullshite though. I'm not one to complain about perceived wrongs where there isn't one but those schedules were not even, and it was intentional. But I'm sure you're all familiar with these complaints.
