I can just about guarantee you that you didn't receive a "War Eagle" in those foreign countries if you weren't wearing Auburn gear - unless you were representing the University.

Then I'll make sure to avoid your guarantees in the future.

You did exactly what I am talking about. You just compared Auburn to Alabama. That is the root of the problem.

How is comparing Auburn to Alabama the root of the problem? Are you trying to argue Alabama so many fans and Auburn has so few? The ratio of Bama fans doing the stuff to actual number of fans compared to anyone in the country still shows a Bama fans is more likely to do something stupid because football than anyone else.

I was shocked when I moved to Gulf Breeze at the number of Alabama fans. But the biggest shock was that I see more LSU fans than Florida Gator fans.

You had to compare. To make you feel better about yourself. That's it. I hope you feel better now.

And you had to make an excuse to make yourself feel better like I said.

I feel like that's a pretty safe assumption.

Do you think he was asked by some random stranger "Hi, where are you from?" ... "Alabama"... "Oh, well War Eagle!?"

Nah.

This is the whole point. I think you are finally getting it. Crazy isn't being used to describe the fans that take football way too seriously. It is being used to describe fans that take it so seriously they kill/poison.

I actually have always gotten it.

Then you would agree, that if the fan base numbers are equal, alabama has more crazies?

No, they say "are you Auburn or Alabama?". My response is, "if you see someone from Alabama and they have all their teeth, they're probably an Auburn fan."

but AU fans are everywhere

That the only reason it seems like Bama has more crazy fans is because everyone is just picking on Bama because they have won recently.
