Bama has those excellent drunk bbq nachos
LSU's sausage dogs are money

My biggest regret was not getting pulled pork nachos in Oxford. I do love a good sausage poboy at LSU.

Auburn has added a few new things over the years. The latest is Bacon Barn, everything has at least 6 slices of bacon , including an awesome bacon philly

True, but the better ones are sold outside the stadium in front of the Houndstooth bar.

I remember LSU having jambalaya so that probably puts them over the top.

We have some really good pulled pork nachos and we have Chickfila so we're not doing too bad.

Bama has dreamland in one area.

We also have a zoe's kitchen. for those of you unaware Zoe's began in Homewood/Tuscaloosa. Was owned by a former bama player/alums. I believe he sold his control to investros who took it national.

LSU's jambalaya is awful, just awful. It tastes worst than Shake's outside across the street. It tastes like some tomatoey crap from New Orleans.

spinach Chicken roll ups are legit.

But I agree it seems that they are drunk on cheap money and expanding everywhere. Houston has a ton of them. Four are propbably within three square miles of each other in inner loop Houston.

:I had way too much bourbon and need to sober up a little. against my will to actually eat concession food, those bbq nachos had to suffice

LSU shouldn't even bother with concessions other than drinks. Anything they served would be inferior to what there is just outside the stadium.

Thing is, there's several foods that could be termed a "staple". I'm from New Orleans, so Red Beans and Rice with Andouille is my "staple". For some people, that would be Gumbo. For others, it's Shrimp Etouffee. Yet another person would say Jambalaya.

Damn...now I'm hungry.
