Why are some Missouri fans so threatened by Thompson?

I mean, if he sucks so bad, why do y'all continue to go out of your way to talk shite about the guy? It's almost like there's an inferiority complex there or something. It honestly reminds me of the people who go out of their way to tell baseball fans how much college baseball sucks.
In every thread about South Carolina, you can usually find one or two Missouri fans and chances are they have said something bad about Thompson.

I could probably find more. I think TigerCruise has a Thompson pinup on his bedroom door.

Dylan Thompson started two games last year, went 30-59 with 0 TD's and 2 INT's. Had to be replaced by an injured Shaw in the second half of the Mizzou game because he was throwing ducks off of his front foot. The guy has very little mobility with a very young and inexperienced WR corps. USC fans are all delusional if they think they're offense will be anything close to what it was last year.

I tell you what, if USCjr goes 11 and fricking 1 you can ban me from this forum, because that means they somehow managed to win @Auburn, @Florida, and @Clemson with Dylan fricking Thompson and they managed to not play a game during the regular season(they have 12 regular season games + SECCG is 13

You haven't learned that small portion of bad Mizzou posters here are fricking terrible.

TigerCruise defines the delusional, South Carolina obsessed Missouri fan
Get rid of him and there won't be as many, but as a whole Mizzou fanbase is really Cock-sessed and its sad

Just look at TigerCruise's post history, pretty much all of his posts on the first page of results have something to do with USC. He is more concerned about USC than his own Mizzou team
Glad we Gamecock Fans have no obsessed poster like that who has a vast majority of posts focused on one team

I'm just laying the foundation for your epic meltdown when Dylan "Hop Step" Thompson blows the opener against one of the worst defenses in the SEC.

Also to be honest, there's really nothing else going on on this forum right now other then SEC Network talk and random hypothetical threads.
Maybe we can all guess the number of penalty flags per team next.

I made a CNB thread.
I don't suppose this thread is evidence of your obsession with whether or not Mizzou posters are obsessed with SC though.

Nah, CNB just knows I'm right, I presented facts about a guy they're all nervous as shite about, I mean Connor Shaw is gone and they have to rely on a guy who couldn't put it together last year.

Damn you for bringing out their degenerate trolls.

Returning WR depth for 2012 (post-Alshon Jeffery):
Ace Sanders: 29 rec., 383 yds, 2 tds
Bruce Ellington: 17 rec., 211 yds, 1 td
Nick Jones: 12 rec., 143 yds, 1 td
Damiere Byrd: 1 rec., 16 yds, 0 td
Returning WR depth for 2013:
Bruce Ellington: 40 rec., 600 yds, 7 tds
Damiere Byrd: 14 rec., 366 yds, 3 tds
Nick Jones: 12 rec., 197 yds, 0 td
Shaq Roland: 5 rec., 80 yds, 1 td
Returning WR depth for 2014:
Damiere Byrd: 33 rec., 575 yds, 4 tds
Shaq Roland: 25 rec., 455 yds, 5 tds
Nick Jones: 27 rec., 281 yds, 5 tds
Pharoh Cooper: 3 rec., 54 yds, 1 td
Our WR production has improved steadily with every passing season, and 2014 actually returns BETTER depth and production for the first time since 2010, when we had Jeffery, Gurley, and a true freshman Ace Sanders. Last season was one of the best seasons USC has had in total passing yds under Spurrier, and was the best in passing tds thrown. And Thompson will also have a very talented RB unit to work with, and potentially the best OL to work behind since Spurrier has come to Columbia.
But that's why we all play the games. We'll see....

frick it, I'll bite the hook.
I think he's bad. Maybe bad is a little harsh, but at least a below average QB. You guys are stacked at every position except for the most important one. I think he's too slow to be an effective runner, but doesn't quite have the arm to make up for his speed. I think he will singlehandedly lose at least one and hugely contribute to at least two more. Sorry?
It's the same as Florida, I just don't think Driskel is that good, plus he'll be coming off an injury.
Happy?

Let me know when you start seeing the pattern of guys slowly increasing catches(cept 2011, Franklin Ran the ball an arse ton).
I think my favorite is the increase in production by DX.
Sasser and Hunt both have 50+ receptions this year, without question.

Besides the ranty shite, there's even a lot of talk on the USC side about whether or not Thompson has the talent/ability/preparedness to lead the Gamecocks.
I think you should be less sensitive.
To make this an official rant response I submit the following:
"Mizzou fans are in your head."
