I have never understood this.

It is laughable that you are trying to make a big deal of this. An assistant Alabama strength coach gave Ha Ha Clinton Dix 500 dollars. Auburn put Rashan Evans bio up on their website. Only an Alabama moron like you would think what Auburn did was worse

seriously, its kind of funny how much attention they have brought the issue

The difference is AU would have made some excuse for the $500. he found it on the corner or something.

Its amusing that your athletic dept made up this James Bond story for something that was a relatively, albeit incredibly stupid, minor mistake. That is why people are discussing it.

Wanted to keep you guys entertained

Yeah because putting a bio up on a website is worse than giving someone 500 dollars even if the former was done on purpose

Only Bama fans are discussing it. Auburn didn't make up any story.
Auburn had bios for all NSD recruits ready to go, and the were (probably inadvisably) live before decisions were made. They just weren't linked to anything. Someone figured out how to get to the Evans one, and that was that.
There is no mystery to it, nor did Auburn try to make it into a story or conspiracy.

of course, when you play the game of assumptions.
The difference is bama probably gave him $50000 and said it was only $500. see how this game works?

Exactly. I don't get it. Just admit it and it would have gone away.
What exactly are AU fans going to admit? Do we work for the university or something?
