When does this happen in football? In what time did a do everything juggernaut of a QB leaving make anytime better?

They'll struggle for 4th or 5th place.

Peyton Manning? UT won the MNC w/ Tee Martin the year after RoboQB left.

No one's saying A&M is going to win the NC, or even the SEC, but it's not impossible for a team to lose an all-time QB and still play better the next year.

I think we're more likely to take a step back for a year, but that's not set in stone.
