I don't think some AU fans recall that we won 6 of the 8, one of their two wins due to divine intervention. Actually both of them if you consider Cam Newton falling into their lap an act of God. Outside of the way it happened, the loss this year was pretty "meh" IMO.

Probably going to be 7 of 9 this year. I'm guessing AU fans stated "frick Georgia" much more often over the last 4 years.

Yep, you're right. I don't.

I only think about the most recent game. At least until the next DSOR comes around then I make it a habit to check the overall head-to-head record again.

And, yep, AU still leads.

Then I think about recent championships, both of the SEC and BCS variety, and that makes me smile a little more.

As this rivalry has been known to do, sometimes the individual teams get on a little run. And also as it is known to do, that little run usually doesn't last that long.

So I can see why y'all value it so much. Especially when you don't have jack else to hang your hat on. Been there, done that.
