TAMU Only selling #12 Jerseys

I know we made a lot of money off of #2 jerseys, but I like this change. I remember seeing a Brandon Stewart #7 jersey in a store when those first came out and thinking "What the hell?"

This is a good idea. The schools not doing this will be exposed to future lawsuits IMO

This is a great idea. I wonder if the blatant policy change exposes the universities to lawsuits for backpay though...

I didn't even realize til last year that we sold individual numbers. When I was in school is was #12 or nothing. I had a friend who had a custom #94 jersey made and I was jealous

What I don't get is: Why can't they sell FORMER player jerseys? Sell a Von Jersey, or sell a JFF Jersey, and give them a cut?

The rules are crazy.

As it should be.

I don't understand that either. I know you can get like MJ UNC throwbacks and I'm sure the school sees part of that revenue, but I think they are mainly marketed through Nike and the Jordan line, not the university. Why we don't sell a Dat, Von and now JFF jersey is beyond me

Isn't Desmond Howard not allowed to profit off of Michigan #21 jerseys?

I dunno about that but he got sued for using that famous picture of him striking the Heisman pose in the end zone on his personal website

I don't know, I found it searching for hot A&M women.

We have great women's apparel; you just have to know where to look.
The bookstores--brick and mortar and online--are actually the worst places to start.
I consider myself a fashion-forward gal ;) (as are my amigas), and we learned long ago that the best way to rock an A&M look is to avoid actual logos & screen-printed items, and simply go straight for the maroon stuff.
It doesn't have to be Officially Collegiate Licensed merch to convey the point.
With the exception of LINK ]Meesh & Mia and a few others, many of us avoid that stuff.
See, this is the kind of quality insight you receive with a uterus on-board the board.

Agreed, great post thanks. Stuff looks good!

I know my wife has this one Old Sarge shirt that rocks, but otherwise you are right the bookstores are slim pickings.

I don't know fashion, but that looks like a massive improvement on the standard Rocky jeans and plaid shirt look that girls went with when I was in school.
