SEC Softball Tournament: Georgia wins championship

Teams that need wins to help get a spot in NCAAT.
Miss ST
South Carolina
everyone else is solidly in
except Texas A&M, Ole Miss, and Arkansas.
Day 1: Kentucky eliminates Miss St 4-3
Auburn eliminates South Carolina 7-5
Day 2: LSU eliminates Missouri 6-0
Kentucky eliminates Tenn 2-0
Georgia eliminates Florida 2-0
Alabama eliminates Auburn
Day 3: LSU 3 Kentucky 4
Alabama 3 vs Georgia 5
Finals
Kentucky vs Georgia

We've actually come a long way. My 1st year at SC (2010) I think we won a grand total of 10 games.. only like 3 in the SEC.

Yeah that is pretty bad...considering half of the schedules usually consist of HBCUs, directional schools among others.

Texas A&M has a shot, they just didn't qualify for the 10 man SECT which hurts....the other two has no chance in hell.

If I remember right, Bama beat SC 21-1 in one of the games that year. All 21 runs were scored in the first 3 innings,with something like 13 or 14 in a single inning. I felt bad for them

Yeah, historically LSU has an absurdly lopsided record against Carolina, ole miss, and state (as I'm sure the rest of the sec powers have). Pretty sure ole miss is 6-50 all time against LSU . In fact Tennessee is the only school who owns the all time series against us. Excited what torina is doing to the program. We will officially be in the conference hunt starting next season
