I stopped reading here. Anything posted with Mel Kiper or Todd McShay deserves to be laughed at. Mike Mayock blows both of those clowns out of the water.
False statement is not only false, but laughable due to the fact that you think it's laughable that Mayock is superior given Kiper and McShay consistently out-perform him on draft day, showing not only a better penchant for talent placement, but also connections to the team.

We graded the 2012 Round 1 NFL mock drafts of Mel Kiper (ESPN), Todd McShay (ESPN), and Mike Mayock (NFL.com), and once again, McShay came out on top. This marks the fourth consecutive year in which McShay bested his two fellow pundits in mock draft accuracy.
We calculated a variability measure based on the difference between when each player was projected to be picked and when he was actually picked. A lower variability score is better (ranks in parentheses).
Mayock finished last in 3 of the past 5 years when comparing to those two and second in the other two.

As is the possibility of somewhere jumping into the first round or early second to pick up AJ McCarron, but that gets laughed off the board.
Im pretty sure its because AJ is saying this

You continue to show your bias when you continue to stand by your statement, even after given empirical evidence the proves your logic is faulty.

I would be elated to get him on the Falcons in the early 3rd round. With our needs though I cant see taking him in the second with where we pick.

2nd - Ford
3rd - Mason

What's funny is all of those guys would be good fits for the team as well. Make it happen Falcons. :)

It was the thread about AJ. And it was a shitty thread. The link talks more about AJ's tattoo more than football.

I see you left out the year 2013...
LINK (the newest and most updated link)
Mel Kiper: 9.6
Todd McShay: 10.6

Let’s start with our simple variability measure, which is based on the difference between when each player was projected to be picked and when he was actually picked. A lower variability score is better:
Mel Kiper: 9.6
Todd McShay: 10.6

The worst projection of all, however, was McShay pegging Ryan Nassib going #7 to Buffalo (actual: #110 to the Giants). This was by the far the worst first-round projection since we started tracking the mock drafts in 2008.

So one year bucks the whole 6 year trend?? When using statistics, it's always safest to go for that one year outlier.
Projected Actual Difference
Mike Mayock Geno Smith, QB 6 39 33
Stephen Hill, WR 20 43 23
Da'Quan Bowers, DE 20 51 31
DeSean Jackson, WR 24 49 25

So one year bucks the whole 6 year trend?
Mike Mayock: 9.1
Mel Kiper: 9.6
Todd McShay: 10.6
So, in short, from the year 2008 until last year, Mike Mayock has been most consistent and accurate with his projections.

From the link you posted...
quote:
The results tell a clear story: Todd McShay has issued the most accurate mock drafts for each of the past three years.
Variability 2009 2010 2011 Average
McShay 8.7 (#1) 8.8 (#1) 6.8 (#1) 8.1 (#1)
Kiper 8.8 (#2) 10.4 (#3) 7.7 (#2) 9.0 (#2)
Mayock 9.6 (#3) 9.9 (#2) 9.3 (#3) 9.6 (#3)
