Tennessee & Fulmer
Florida & Meyer or The ole ball coach
Arkansas & Petrino
Miss st & Jackie Sherill
Ole Miss & Tuberville
Vandy & Franklin
LSU & Saban
(I live in Louisiana and know a few guys who still wish little Nicky was in BR so this isn't a bad question IMO)
Auburn & Tuberville
(Some of my kin folk back in Dixie land wish he never would of got the boot, 6 in a row against bama will forever be impressive)
Any other former coaches and their schools i might have missed are joyfully welcomed in the discussion.
Personally I'm happy with Gus, glad to have him.

This is LSU and Saban and it's not close. Fulmer was falling off, Meyer made UF into the most athletic Blood set in the country and Auburn has been two NCs since Tubs while Tubs is coaching Cincy. Petrino and Arkansas should be in here too Btw

LSU fans are emotionally unstable after Nick left them

the answer is Arky and Petrino

Fulmer = Mack Brown = Bobby Bowden = Mark Richt

Of course any team would want Saban back but Miles isn't so bad. I would say Arkansas, Petrino had the piggies playing good.

LSU fans have always been emotionally unstable.
It is a good thing on a saturday night after a few whiskeys with a big opponent in town. It's a bad thing on a message board after a win that wasn't dominating enough for the football savants of the tiger rant.
Louisiana is a passionate place and football is an emotional sport. It's really that simple and has been the case since before Nick L. Saban was even born.

This roster is because of Petrino. Flashy offense with no recruiting won't last longer than 2-3 years. We'd be screwed even if he came back tomorrow

frick Petrino, give me Nolan back.

All coaches with National Championships. Not the worst scenario.
Oh wait... damn it.

A lot of people in La do want Saban back. I'm not one of them. Saban is a great coach, but he's joyless. Miles is a much better fit for LSU. Competive and I can respect and like him at the same time. I love Coach Miles.
