The hatred from their side has subdued somewhat recently because we've been so bad and Fulmer is gone. But make no mistake, when VOLS finally beats Alabama you'll see some venom spewed from the Bammers that you've never seen.

I know a few Gumps that are still pissed off about Albert Means and the textbook thing.

There's more respect than there is for Florida there, but there's still good old fashioned hate too.

I hate Bammers more than I hate Gators... which is saying a whole lot.

when they finally beat them. Yep,that's a classic right there that the rest of the league needs to stand still so we can preserve this jewel.

Lets bring back the Vandy-Sewanee game while we're at it.

Yes, yes, we're all so terribly impressed with TAMU's recent accomplishments.

Finishing 3rd in their division = A&M's best season ever

At the moment, you are probably right. We've beaten them so bad the last few years that their fanbase is basically the equivalent of a broke mule at this point. But during the Fat Phil days, my hatred for that program was on par (if not more so in some years) with Auburn. But they really do need to at least get to where they are competitive in the game.

But I will give Butch and their fanbase credit, they aren't shrinking from the game and trying their best to get out of it like some others.

What the frick do you want me to say? Everyone is well aware that we haven't beaten them in 7 years.

Well we'd hate to bow out before we flip the streak around.

In every thread involving Tennessee, people act like we're seemingly unaware that we suck. "Hey, VOL FAN! Your team is AWFUL!" No, really?!?! I thought losing a decades long streak against Kentucky and losing in consecutive years to Vanderbilt was a sign that we were just chuggin' right along!

No other fan base outside of Bama and Tennessee gives a frick about this game.

And that has been the history of this rivalry. It is one of long winning streaks. The only difference with our current streak is the margin of each victory that we've had in this streak. But I'm sure it will eventually flip back to UT.

Bammers, UGA, and a few of the Florida posters know we won't stay down. Everyone else thinks football just started and never cycles.

I would include a good portion of the AU posters in that group as well.

If you've noticed, it's always the teams that are below us on tSEC pecking order that want to drop in with a "VOLOLOLOL" and "LOL at 10RC derp" in every VOLS thread.

They have one more year to get the cheap shots in... after that, order will be restored to the SEC.

And we don't give a flip whether or not any other fanbase gives a flip. We got it, and we are keeping it no matter how much LSU fans want to cry about it.

Egg Bowl may actually be more hateful than all of them as far as the fans are concerned.

I've said it multiple times and I stand behind my statement when I say that the Egg Bowl is the most hate-filled day in College Football history.
