I still haven't figured out which subpar team we will inexplicably lose to this year, thus costing yet another SEC East title.

Oh this year has Kentucky written ALL over it.

Well, I think it has been someone different every year.

2011 - Auburn
2012 - Florida (not subpar, but we shite the bed)
2013 - Tennessee

Look for Kentucky or Vandy this year.

Way early SEC East prediction.

1.) UGA

Nothing like self serving polls. First of all...WHAT UGA attributes gives them first place status in the east? Lets see now....lost long time starting qb...check...last years defense was average at best and UGA lost some more talent, but should be about the same...check. Other than Jenkins...what star do you have on defense? Just because you have a great rb does not mean diddy if passing game falters and teams stack the line.
I would put UGA at 4th. UF/USC will be after the right to go to Hotlanta and USC comes to the Swamp. Dont discount UF either....cant expect us to have 126 games missed because of injuries every year. Our offense is going to surprise folks and defense will be typical BOOM.

Leonard Floyd and Ray Drew are both very good and Leonard is probably the best defender on the team not Jenkins.

UGA isn't just throwing in some Freshman at QB. UGA is loaded on the offensive skill positions. UGA could easily be the best team in the East when the only real competition is USC and Misery of late. As a gator fan, I figured you would recognize best of all that it doesn't matter what kind of team we field that we are in your heads and will be again this year. 4/0 vs coach boom incoming.

First of all, we had just about the same amount of key injuries.
We did not lose any talent on the defense, and will have arguably the best LB corps in the SEC. Floyd and Jenkins are the big names, but the others are producers.
Our offense returns the best RB in the SEC and arguably the best WR corps from top to bottom.
Our starting QB got a few starts under his belt, including a nice comeback win on the road against a rival.

so, you use "our offense is going to surprise folks" as a gator argument....how convienent. I could say the same thing about Kentucky. That wouldn't make them real contenders though.

I still like Mizzou's chances to go back to back in the division. Just depends on our DB and S positions. I think the rest will be solid.

I'm confident in the teams that will make up 1-4 and the ones that are 5-7, but not in which order they'll be in. I could see any of the top four teams winning the East.

You only lose your QB, HB, top 3 WRs, TE, and 2 OLineman. What's that really say about your S and DBs if THATS your concern....

LOL @ thinking your depth was good before. Winner of Mizzou/Kentucky game will decide 5th in the East.
