No doubt. If there is a coach in this league that will ride a player into the ground to try and win, it's Spurrier. I feel terrible for Lattimore...

Yeah it's a shame that Spurrier ran Davis into the ground last year. I mean he rushed more than 20 times a whopping three times with a high of 26. 26 whole carries... what kind of monster makes a RB run that much!!! He averaged 15.6 carries per game. How did he last the whole season with a workload like that? And that's when the backups were being shuttled in and out of the lineup with injuries. Having a deeper backfield this season is only going to put more pressure on Spurrier to overload Davis. Has he no soul? Someone should write a letter...

Gurley had basically the same number of carries per game as Davis.

16.5 to 16.92

Gumps are mad because Bama did absolutely everything they could to land one of the best RB's out of HS ever and failed.

Very few Bama fans thought he was coming here. If they did, they were either trolling or fully delusional.

..and we still got Scarbro and our huge lot of the RBs from the year before. I think we'll be ok

Whoever leads Mizzou in rushing (not clear yet if it will be Hansbrough, Murphy, or Steward) has a shot at breaking top five in both.

2012: Kendial Lawrence 7th in rushing yards (1,025) and tied for 4th in TDs (12)

2013: Henry Josey 5th in rushing yards (1,166) and tied for 2nd in TDs (16)

We spread the ball around, so it's hard to imagine any of our RBs having over 200 carries, but somebody with 180 carries 1,100 yards and double digit TDs wouldn't be atypical.

BS,You don't know WTF you're talking about if think otherwise.Saban was on LF from middle school til the time he committed to LSU.There were alot of behind the scene moves made by Bama to get him and it didn't work.

Nerp not what I meant

The home situation kept him an LSU lock (didn't live at home) and Les didn't take a RB in last year's class, something Bama wouldn't ever do I don't think

Whoa don't get upset Tiga

There were a lot of behind the scenes moves by both teams I agree and he picked the better option for him, no qualms with that here

I wish Buga the best
