Wonderlic doesn't really mean much. Go look at the all time great QB wonderlics.

I remember reading that coaches have come to prefer good, not great wonderlic scores. The great scores like 48 mean they are smarter than the coach which apparently causes friction.

Thinking about it, I find that's true in normal jobs too actually

Actually, it means more at the QB position than any other. You have a few mouth breathers that have been successful, but most of the good ones are of average intelligence or higher.
