You're one of those who loved to listen to creed until everybody hated them aren't you

Don't know why you're confused though. If Alterbridge's last album wasn't pure metal/power ballad I don't know what is.

Let me guess, phish is the best, amirite?

I'll give you creed, but saying alterbridge is bad music to any degree is musical blasphemy.

I know those goons inside and out.

All about hip hop, New Orleans jam bands, and late 70s, early 80s rock (which is thank god, actual decent music)

Basically if it's not some obscure band no one has ever heard of, they suck.

I try to be respectful towards any music, those people are just sinister.

That song just showed a different side of him and I'm not even really a fan of his music. His Ozzy work is good but that song is just awesome.

My musical background personally actually started with Evanescence, Dream Theater, and Santana...that was at age 4. My brother got me the metropolis album at age 5 but man I've loved that CD ever since. Then it morphed into LP and Metallica and also creed was mixed in there prior to the last two I just said. Fallout Boy, soundgarden, audio slave, rage against the machine.

Now I still listen to the crazy stuff like that but I'll ocasionally throw in a guilty pleasure like Pharrell Williams and Lea Michele

Oh yeah and I would totally bone Cristina Scabbia.

A lot of metal guitarists are brilliant musicians, they just fall in a genre of music that is not very appreciated. There is this guy on YouTube Erock'311 who is an awesome metal guitarist and he studied classical for 3 years. His phrasing is flawless.
