The only thing that 1992 Alabama lacked was a solid passing game.
In retrospect, that was probably to their benefit. Gino Torretta looked like shite in the Sugar Bowl.

Let's normalize the data a little bit.
Let's use AP Poll, Coaches' Poll, and Bowl Victories.
If that's the case, then the following teams qualify:
Alabama: 1961, 1979, 1992, 2009, 2011, and 2012
Auburn: 2010
Florida: 1996, 2006, and 2008
Georgia: 1980
LSU: 1958 and 2007
Tennessee: 1998
On average, each team has 2.333 qualifying seasons.
So, let's limit this to you team's top 2 NC teams that won an AP, Coaches, and a bowl game
Alabama: 1992 and 2012.
Florida: 2008 and 1996
LSU: 2007 and 1958
The rest of you. Thanks for participating, but you didn't qualify.
